Jumping, playing, running around- it’s the best exercise for a little kid! While your son or daughter may be enjoying all that the Fun-E Farm has to offer, as a parent, what’s the best wardrobe for a fun, vigorous exercise session?
What type of shirt is best to wear for a morning or afternoon of jumping? This might seem like a silly question at first, but when you think about it, not so much. You want to make sure that the shirt is not too big. While jumping about, your son or daughter’s shirt is bound to come up; exposing skin and leaving them vulnerable to “rug burns.” On the same not, a shirt that is too small will ride up, again leave the exposed to “rug burns” etc. Make sure you’re child wears a shirt that fits them.
We recommend long-legged pants. Shorter ones allow for scrapes, scratches and “rug burns.” If their pants are too large, they risk falling down or causing your child to trip- no one wants unnecessary boo-boos! Dresses and skirts are adorable, but they are not the best attire for active play. Pants or leggings that are too tight restrict movement and don’t allow them to fully engage with others. As with shirts, pants that fit properly are essential.
No need to worry about shoes at the Fun-E Farm, they aren’t allowed! However, socks are necessary. Make sure your child comes either wearing, or with a clean pair of socks. If their socks are too dirty, it could cause their socks to be slippery. We don’t want your son or daughter falling down as they skip around, laughter and giggles allowed and encouraged, screams and cries break our hearts.
If your child has longer hair, make sure its out of their face allowing them to have a clear line of vision. Any type of impaired vision is a liability for the other children as well.
